    Which motherboard do you have, if you don't mind me asking?

    Sounds a bit familiar to a time when I had one such board, where I would have some issues if using the integrated sound. :S

    Is it the HDMI or in other words, video card that is of nVidia make?

    Either way, it definitely shouldn't be crashing if something else doesn't for example change the graphics settings and whatnot. You indeed seem to have some deeper issues there, and unless that Blue Screen mentioned a video/sound driver specifically, I would strongly recommend running memtest86+ a few, if you haven't yet.

    Bad memory modules are possibly the most common reason for those nice screens to appear, though depending of the stop error, it could indeed indicate a driver issue just as well.
