Twilight Gear, why fulltime!?

Can someone please explain to me why every other BST I see is fulltiming the twilight gear set? 0% haste, 0 pet buffs, 0 idle bonuses. Are you that bad a player you need constant RR3!? There is level 18 gear that is better than this.
BSTs i confront about this get so uppity in my face about it, its crazy! PERLE gear is better for God's sake.
Literally, wearing twilight set is like being naked, all for the sake of reraise? Buy a 20k earring please and take off the crap armor.

What's really funny? The people in perle and twilight gear are probably having fun where the OP is having a temper tantrum about how they're all doing it wrong. I'd say the person having fun in a video game is doing better than the one having a fit over what someone else is doing. Take a step back and have a little perspective, OP.

Yeah I watch a lot of those BSTs having fun and then get their asses tore apart because they're too retarded to consider that their pets are tanking most of the damage without any consideration that if their pet dies then they're next. I've seen this happen so many times.

That's really kind of disturbing that you derive such pleasure from the suffering or failure of others, but it's not very surprising. The FFXI community is a lot more screwed-up in the head than it gets credit for. Thanks for demonstrating that!

Amusing to see so many Bandwagon BSTs get their shit kicked in because they're too lazy to gearswap? Awesome!

This kind of entertainment is the best you can enjoy from players who halfass their gear. Everytime I hear someone saying they don't macro swap their gear, I just facedesk and wait for the outcome of their painful suffering & humliation because they complain that this game is too hard. lol

People who play BST like that are just pure unadulterated lazy. I avoid doing anything with them because they're either too stubborn to gear thier jobs up somewhat respectivly or they think full pearl is ok and Abyessa is too hard.

So yeah watching them die horribly because they're too stupid to learn that you can't halfass your way thru on stuff that matters is pure entertainment at it's best.~

I often put on really crappy gear while running around just to troll others! I recently put together a chr- gear set just for reactions (actually I made it for some testing to answer questions, but its really funny when you get a reaction).

more seriously, I often idle in my twilight gear for the refresh/regen. Otherwise I usually don't complain about other ppl doing less than optimal stuff on bst or any other job unless I'm in the party w/ them and relying on them for something... which is almost never.

who are you seeing like this? bandwagon bst competing w/ you in dyna? Hey, if they are killing slower, thats fine by me. I get more mobs that way.
