My statement was in regard to people who have two separate Square Enix accounts for their dualbox (or tribox, quad, etc) setups. People have posted on FFXIAH that they won on multiple characters this way.

I say it's selfish as the prize pool for this is limited, unlike Mog Bonanza where it was only limited by numbers the players themselves chose. But I suppose it's an opinion in the end.

Well. The odds are in your favor of winning. I hope you did. ^_^

Odds of winning are (I estimate) 8:1 so the odds are in favour of a person not winning, I'm also EU so we didn't have over 6k prizes, we had just over 600 but the odds of my winning were also 8:1. Still, I could always win the real lottery tonight, the odds are only 116 million to 1 (though if I buy two tickets my odds drop to 58 million to 1! I'd need to buy 116,531,800 tickets to guarantee the win, which is less than the prize fund.... hrm.... )

I have a sneaking suspicion (especially with all the duplicate items going out there, several have reported) that someone somewhere at SE messed up the distribution method, and that's why none of the mods have come out and said that the distribution has ended. And they've been here posting other stuff today. They haven't even announced that they have started to deliver the items, and you would think they would.

I'm suspicious this is a good possibility. The whole contest was kind of 'on the fly' because of whatever legal issues they thought they had. Also, if I remember correctly, we did something like this for the Nomad Moggle Bonanza a while back where you got one entry per account. But, what was strange this time was you had to type in the name of the character on the account you wanted to get the prize. In the past contest, it brought up a list of characters on the account and you chose one.
