Enrage

It was mentioned here once briefly over a year ago, if you type /recast enrage you get "--:--" which means it's in the system but you're not on the right job for it. (type /recast provoke on a job/sub not including war and get the same thing, type "/recast blowstuffup" and get "command error has occured".)

From what I had heard, Enrage was tested as a provoke for PLD on a 3 minute recast, around the same time they tested utsusemi: san as a lvl 62 nin spell. Neither were implemented.

Right now, Enrage as an extra Provoke would be nearly useless. In anything that matters most damage dealt = tank.

I would suggest, if SE even wants to fix PLD, a good way to do that without significantly affecting how ochain/aegis PLD works would be to make Enrage what it sounds like: an offensive ability. SE likes to mirror PLD and DRK abilities and while Last Resort got buffed from 30 seconds to 3 minutes Sentinel is still 30 seconds. Sentinel did get a good boost but I don't think it's on par with Last Resort+Desperate Blows.

People have also suggested raising the enmity cap for PLD. You could combine the 2 and have Enrage be an offensive buff, either attack or make it Potency so it'd be good for CDC without stacking with Champion's, and have it raise the enmity cap while active. A similar duration/recast to the current Last Resort sounds good to me but could be pushing it, if SE could even test out implementing Enrage in any part of this idea many PLD would be thankful.

I think it's more that they're trapped into leaving it as it is or else Ochain/Aegis becomes more broken.
