SE Store woes (Click & Buy?! Are you serious?!)

So a week or so ago I see that the new FFXI merch is coming soon to the SE store. I wait and wait, and finally last night, I was finally able to add them to the cart. ($23 for pens though?! Oh well, I'm a sucker)

Get to checkout and am greeted by this:


What is SE's obsession with Click & Buy?! They are an awful company with scummy business practices. Is it really THAT hard? It's sad to say that Paypal would be the lesser of two evils here.

Also, what's with the $23 order minimum? Dinky home-run business have better policies than this.

I may have ordered the stuff anyway but that is besides the point

Consider yourself lucky, as a Canadian we can't even order from the store. Because you know we are 3rd rate citizen for SE.

Isn't the least expensive item they just started preorder on $22.99, just below the $23 minimum. You have to order at least 2 items to qualify for that. And yeah, no shipping to Canada sucks. At least this company knows their geography (unlike Hershey) and knows Alaska isn't Canada.

I thought the point of Crysta was to have consistent payment options across the company, and to be able to use it for the store. If you're going to accept international players, let them all order from the store, and let them all use the payment methods that your game allows. C&B is horrible, we've been saying this since SE switched to them for payment. Our banks hate it, the BBB hates it, we hate it.

Just wait for the poopoo to hit the fan when their new SE Store Exclusive Final Fantasy 7 PC with Achievements / Cloud Saving / Cash Shop Booster hits and people don't buy it after having to put up with C&B bull, THEN SE might care.

I would like to know as well, I was gonna buy my set today but it looks like that isn't gonna happen. I also wanted a Mandragora plush, but those were sold out before I even found out about the whole thing.

So it's been over a week and my order still hasn't shipped. This isn't the kind of slow shipping I'd expect for $10 shipping cost (that would probably cost about $2 to mail via USPS)

I've been trying to purchase the mandy and goblin cushions. Click and Buy told me my payment method didn't go through (did fine last week with the keychains I ordered) and now I have 3 pending charges to my bank account as a result.

Now I have to wait for the charges to go away and MAYBE i'll try again. I don't know if I want to have to deal with this crap again. They may have very well lost a purchase from me over this.

It boggles my mind how Square Enix (eventually) listened to their players and added a payment method that actualy made sense, and went directly to SE, and all was good... then they finally make more/new FFXI merchandise available, and kick us in the nuts by FORCING us to use this thing we told them we didn't want to use. And that's assuming the thing even accepts your payment!

We need a new payment option for the SE store. It SHOULD NOT be this difficult to place an order like this.

(also why does the click and buy page you get sent to appear to be registered to SE's London office?)

Wondering the same. I really wanted those pens, and now I see they are sold out. I was hoping for a Windurst key-chain too, which is also sold out. Hoping they are restocked soon, I really wanted those in-game clubs. They're very cute.

Really wanted that gorgeous Lenneth statue that they have in the store too, but it's sold out and it's OMGWTH expensive.
