Not my funniest moment, id really have to put some thought into that, there have been many. But a very memorable one was…

About 6 months into playing ffxi, a new high level friend wants to help me, my brother and sister in law (and a few others) attain rank 5 for our airship passes. I’m a blm and just got my warp 2 scroll. Awesome. So to speed up the process I am to warp everyone back to jeuno from beaduex (the 2 nm drops that you trade in to the taru) so they could choco back. My brother gets the first 2 drops and asks me to warp him out. I begin casting warp 2 on him. I end up in jeuno. Why? Ill let you figure that out =p

Sheesh, I have a ton of em. I'm the king of derp sometimes lol.

I think the one that stands out is one time in Dynamis - Windurst, we(the BLMs) were getting to time nuke the boss dead, so I started buffing up. I hit what I thought was my stoneskin macro, but it turns out that I accidentally hit my sleepga macro, while targeting the boss lol. I couldn't interrupt in time because I wasn't paying attention - I ended up MPKing the whole LS. Good times. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard on FFXI xD

The earliest one I can remember is the earliest one I had: being a newb.

I remember I shouted for help in Windurst about a half hour after first logging in, because I couldn't (coughbebotheredcough) figure out how to do basic things immediately (hey, I was excited to play!). Soon after I encountered and got to know what would be my first LS and small group of friends, and the leader helped me learn how to fight (and things like the fact that I didn't need to buy fifty potions/ethers or run back to the mog house every time I needed to heal myself).

One of the members, while I was fighting a bee and the leader was trying to explain to me that "running around it in circles doesn't increase your evasion...", used the emote text to type "/emote steals 342 gil from <t>!"

I flipped out in surprise and curiosity and asked her how she did it so easily (without me initiating any sort of reaction!), asking her to teach me how to do it too. I also kindly asked her to return the gil, hahahaha.

decided to get back to leveling drk went to the ah and got gear for the pieces i was missing including a weapon for the level i wasi remeber thinkling right dont die and delevel or you will end up having to beat things to death with your warp stick, anyway went out to beuc and started doing FoV went down the ramp spotted a tiger and started killing it bout half way through fighting i get agro from an airhman oh damn.. killed the tiger and got to work on the eye mad it through the fight with around 100 hp left wow that was too close right need to rest so i click R3 to rest..... "a monster appears out of no where" i just sat there gobsmacked as the VNM id just poped finished me off in 1 shot of all the place's in the zone i could pick to heal i managed to pick the exact spot the vnm was on i swear to god im sure iv pissed off a GM some time and they like playing with me lol


and carrying on the theme of accidental tele/warps MT. zylom party im blm im throwing in the odd cure here and there just to help out iv always done all of my cures from the magic menu (dont start its my way and it works for me) a couple of quick clicks of the menu button and i have a cure ready to go, anyway our tank has to leave and asks me for a D2 so i D2 him we find a replacement pld and he walks all the way out to us and the party gets going again, couple of mobs in the pld takes an incinerate to the face and almost dies so im mashing my menu button to throw out a quick cure 3 on him forgeting that i hadnt moved the pointer back up to my cure spells away from the last spell i had cast.... PLd "um why am i in WG?" party went all out and killed the crawler before any died, thankfuly the party saw the funny side to it including the poor pld who had to walk out to mount zylom all over again

Back on Seraph when they first introduced the /dance commands, a bunch of people were gathered in Tavnazian Safehold dancing away. In the middle of the dance-off, two GM's appeared out of no where and joined in for a bit. When word caught hold of the dancing GMs, the Safehold population grew fast xD It was really really funny xD
