    Healing Avatar Idea: Seraph

So, I've brought the idea up before and here it is fleshed out.

I think we as Summoners could use an Avatar dedicated to healing for those moments where the healer disconnects or you simply don't have a job leveled that can effectively be a healer but don't want to be excluded from events for that reason.

Seraph appeared in only one Final Fantasy title that I can recall (FFVI). It's use was as a healer with the spells: Raise, Cura, Cure, Regen, and Esuna.

Now to make this apply as an avatar in the world of XI I could see it getting Rage abilities similar to a Dancer's Sambas. They could inflict a bit of damage while putting a status on the monster that would allow attackers to drain HP. Or conversely they could apply an effect that would make the en-drain effect actually drain HP (but this could be overpowered).

Seraph's abilities would more likely follow the Ward route, however. It could learn single target cures up to 5 (BP's have 45sec-1min timer so it wouldn't steal the limelight from White Mage). It could learn curaga's up to 3. It's Favor could increase cure potency in tiers by 3% to a maximum of 12%, maybe 15% if it wouldn't make things too easy. It's 2 hour could be like Benediction only curing say 20% less and only the -na status effects. Maybe it could even learn -na-ra's haha, or just the -na's but have a chance to aoe like WHM does with AF3+1/2 head. Maybe na's could go in the rage section or something.

Another thought on the drain effect, maybe its melee hits would have a drain samba effect of it's own.

What would you all like to see in a healing (not buffing, that'd be a tad too powerful) avatar that wouldn't steal the life from, but could enhance or settle as a replacement for the standard healers? Discuss!

Edit: I excluded raise since most desirable sub jobs for SMN would have that. Plus that would be a little intense.
