Tribute Artbook, can I have it?

I know Im kinda like an scratched record playing to a wall talking about FFXI fanart but as I was lining up my shoping cart at a certain online store for an upcomming roadtrip to USA with my friends, I was seeing the tribute arbooks that capcom has been doing with their franchises






Now Imagine this but an FFXI tribute artbook with the best of the winners of past fanart contest or/and a new selection of a next competition

XI years of FFXI - A tribute fan art book
Toss in a few new illustrations for the cover and a couple of pages of the original concept artist and a couple more of Amano commisioned art, give the winners of the competition their own hardcover copy and you are gold.

jocking aside, This is something that I would really love seeing. Not enough funds? make it a kickstarter project, it has precedence, the Transmetropolitan fan tribute artbook was funded only by kickstarter power.

Hope the player comunity doesnt ignore this, sure there are LOTS of issues within the game itself that need fixing but this is just an idea to celebrate the good things that FFXI has gave us this years

This is a great ideas, doubt they would do it though. Kickstarter is a great idea too if it can happen. The problem is the FFXI management is very very slow to understand what their loyal consumer wants and only do the minimal thing to make the products run smooth with very little addition. The comparison is glaring when you put FFXI and FFXIV together, the new team on FFXIV is miles ahead with a leader who is warm, caring, understand what the game needs, actually listen to players feedback, and willing to work the extra miles to make sure the game will be better. We seriously need this guy to lead FFXI and FFXIV, he is that good!
