    Salvage Requirements

    Yes, I know there's a Salvage update on the way, but it's still something that bothers me. With how the content is now, the requirement of 3 people is annoying to some(those who dual box), and who cannot always have a 3rd on hand. Please lessen the entry requirements for Silver Sea, Bhaflau, Zhayolm and Arrapago to one or two people.

    A THF and a dual-boxed healer make short work of any zone, so there's no reason not to lower the requirement to two at the most. Sometimes people will just plain not want to join your run, or not be available, and for those who want to/are going every day, it's more about finding a third than going at that point.

    I would like the new salvage to be designed for 6+, with the content being difficult for less than 6 (though doable), just like it was back in the day. Also as an experienced salvage player I would like the dev team to consider the following issues when revamping salvage :

    * don't do the new salvage in the old salvage (like dynamis), use another instance instead, for each zone (one level 75 zone, one level 99)
    * As was mentionned in another thread, the most annoying thing in salvage is sorting invo : make cells rare and give the option to stop mob from dropping cells (since usually we unlock gear/stats on the first floor and then we "farm")
    * Reduce the amount of cells (for instance : HP/MP, stats,magic/abilities, visible slots, weapons, accessories)
    * Make the event spicy, force a decent amount of Assault Points for entry with a reward that is appealing. I suggest 5,000 assault points for entry with 3+ minimum requirements.
    * Ajust the duration to one hour but allow multiple runs per day.
    * Allow Imperial standings as reward.
    * Add new armor models for the new gear (Nyzul was quite disappointing because it looks like the old gear)
    * Keep the idea of gathering several pieces to assemble them. One could think of the following : To get a level 99 body you require an upgraded level 75 one +level 85+level 95, the last two dropping from NMs.
    * However get rid of the set bonus as it was designed with the original salvage system : make it like all new set where you still get a bonus for wearing only part of the set. Another idea is that your damage could increase based on the number of salvage gear in your party.
    * Allow the final boss to drop a number of alexandrites based on the time remaining after kill or find a way to reward players that finish the zone earlier.

    I would like to solo the current salvage. The only reason I don't is because I cannot enter solo.

    You should be able to solo the current salvage. The entire ToAU end game should be revised to be honest. The game has changed a great deal. We should have options for solo and not being forced into grouping on every single aspect of the game. Granted solo is usually not as fun as playing with others, but the options should be there.
