    Weapon skill revamp

In the "Scythes" forum pertaining to BSTs, Camate mentions about the revamping of weapon skills in the future, may someone shed some more light on this? Will this affect only a small few of these WS or will every WS be re-evaluated? If also possible, can a dev reveal when we can expect these tests and implements to take place? There are definitely a nice number of hot-topic posts across the forums about certain WSs that can use more love.

I personally would love to see more power behind some of the weapon exclusive WS, also i feel some of the utility WS should have a greater potency, especially ignore defense WS ie. "Camnlann's Torment" post has became a hot topic but i haven't seen a dev reply yet. So a possibility for a WS revamp will definetely be game changing.

Need to bring Drakesbane up to par with Stringing Pummel. That thing has like 35-40% Crit Rate and +50% attack. Drakesbane is 5% crit and -20% attack -_-

Why do polearm WS suffer -attack% penalties when DRG already has such poor attack??

Because it is the only 2H job with a pet, shitty reason I know, but thats why I'm sure. Its the same way with Req, why the sword merit WS suffers a -attack effect when every job that can use it is already low in attack is stupid, but we get resist bypassing damage in return, so eh, somehow thats fair.

I believe RDM was the first job they actually referenced the WS revamp to.

    O.o I'm... amazed... speechless even!

Oh wait, maybe they are taking away some sword WSs, give us staff since thats what 50% of RDMs use... jk but I could honestly see them doing it too ;>_>

Lol yeah this can be both exciting and scary tbh. Just no more nerfing of strong ws pls... if they want to balance content, they should figure out how to remedy the issue where if you want something destroyed in vw.. a drk/sam/drg/mnk and will even go as far as rng would be able to have just as much impact or at least close to war in terms of dmg, this way if shouters favor for ukkon wars, but there is none available, they should b able to find a DD that can still accomplish the same goal in their own unique way.

This could actually be a good thing, especially for the elemental weapon skills.

Just a side note too.. Arrows and Polearms in history would be made to go through armor, so jobs that has mastery in this should have a natural ignore defense trait to help enhance their WS potential against new content HNMs.
