WoG Mission 12 Affairs of State blacking out before completing CS

    April 14, 2012~
    PS-2/Ps3 system

WoG Mission 12 "Affairs of State" During the CS-cut scene it freezes and blacks out before completion of the CS. I've exhausted checking everything even re-installed the game and I still get a blackout on this CS. The problem is not on my system it is with yours! All my ports are correct and don't have any other CS problems only with this specific Quest/Mission 12 WoG NPC "Radford" Bastok Markets (S) Unable to get past this CS due to black out everytime. It's suppose to give me the key item Count Borel's letter but due to blacking out I'm unable to obtain it or go any further in the Missions.

I've reported it to GM who refers me to the website to which I've reported this issue for the third time now! I still am getting blackout on this Mission. Please fix this bug. I tried the CS again today April 14,2012 around 12-1 pm CST and again Blacks out before completion of the CS. When it does that I have to re-boot/re log in and the mission remains uncompleted due to blacking out...

SE's stance on lockups like that for a while has been that they won't patch it for the few remaining PS2 users that didn't do the missions when they were new. If they respond, they're going to say to log in on a PC to progress past that cutscene. Certain cutscenes always lock up on the PS2, and have been doing so since the release of Abyssea. I can't think of any that have been fixed since then.

I'm at the same place, and mine keeps blacking out at the end of the cutscene. It blacked out once with Windurst too, but I did it again and it went through. I hope they fix it.

The problem still exsist I've reported it 3 X to Tech support and just today to Bug Reports as suggested by POL Cust. Service. Numerous issues with black screen happend the last few days that same Mission 12 WoG Affairs of the State in Bastok Market (S) NPC I've told them repeatedly it's NOT INTERNET!

Then Sat May 12 and today May 14 Numerous people were being black screened and DC'd during mid fights on Voidwatch NM's Kalsatrux and Aello then when logged back in and told LS members I found out that several other people the same thing happend to them at that sametime but they were in completely different areas on another NM Voidwatch and some in Abyssea. This is a Bug or something wrong with either VoidW. or Abyssea or Graphics issues regardless the problems is Square Enix still...they don't seem to do much about it.......

So that's just wonderful so because some of us didn't get the chance to finish WoG they don't care much... Hmm that's funny cause the black screen issue is NOT just WoG related it's all over the place in Voidwatch NM's various areas and always happens during NM fights. Also happend in Abyssea areas to numerous other people that sametime.. There's something wrong somewhere that's affecting several areas.
