Inventory is broken in this game. Every item that isn't a weapon or armor should stack. Either that or make it so you can't gear swap.

Dear SE: Your VW system has succeeded so well in your desire to hook people with its great loot and horrible drop rates that non-stackable voiddust no longer satisfies the demand.
The ONLY logical solution to this is to make it stackable, since saying no is like a drug dealer telling their clients to go to rehab.
Free your inventory and non stacking items are no hinderance anymore.
SE explained why they made them non stackable and still you ask for it.
I'm that disapointed, that theres forums are flooded with greedy people.
Btw. Just add stones before you set sails and restock them when you get back. What's so difficult at all since you allready need inventory space for the crap that is droping?
The reason given made no sense, this is why people still ask, they say their reason is they want to keep dust as a viable alternative for those without the stones to participate. I however see little reason why this would prevent said goal honestly. It is another item that is taking up more room, when we have limited space, 80 seems like alot at 1st, but even with 80 space max, if you gear your job well, many jobs can take alot of it up (50~60), and items not stacking or SE giving us more space, does not help this problem.
I started VW 2 months ago: "if" 3 stones per day, I'd have 180 stones, how I'll explain 0/350+ on Mekira, 0/150 on Toci's, 0/100~ Ogier's Body/Borealis and alot of other VWNM with 0/50~ ; ;
I've spent around 2k stones, thankfully for those who farm Voiddust or VWNM would be dead by now.
@Waldrich
And? ...
What will you do when you got what you wanted? ...
What did you do to get these "free" items? (Voidstone/-dust)
I sold 2k Voiddust in the above mentioned timespan and still have 400 stones with the same result as you. ;p
I'm sorry to say it again but you people are just greedy. If SE doesn't present you everything on a silver plate you'r not happy. And the point why Voiddust isn't stackable doesn't concern the point why you spent so much stones cause there are always 100+ at the AH and the way from and to the AH <-> Voidwatch-NPC isn't that far that you would die.
So... do your VW -> warp to your HP -> sell trash -> buy some stones -> restock -> do your VW -> repeat
I don't see why SE should change something in this chain?

Hi Ihnako, guess what, I don't buy voiddust at all. I spam vwnm, I rarely have more than 10 stones saved up with the npc, so I do campaign to trade the AN for voiddust. I'm not interested in spending 180k gil in voiddust each run (6 fights), so your solution of "do fights -> warp -> sell trash -> buy voiddust" etc doesn't work for me. I have to retrace to pick up more voiddust because I do not have the space in my inventory/mog sack/mog satchel to keep more than 6 voiddusts there.
Now if voiddust was stackable, even if only to 12, that would be a great help for me. I could spam my campaign and stock up on voiddust - those 6 single voiddusts in my mog satchel would suddenly turn into 72 voiddusts and not take up any more room.
And yes, I'm with everybody else here, the reason why SE won't make voiddust stackable makes no sense at all.
Edit: although crystal petrifacts were stackable from the start, SE still increased stack size from 12 to 99. With this in mind, there's not one single valid reason why they shouldn't make voiddust stackable.
