Best solo job

I'd say as a career ninja it is about the best solo job out there. It has flaws mainly because if you can't stun ga spells with /dnc its not a great idea to fight it. Even in this case it's rare. The job is amazing solo in abyssea. I ended up low-manning if not soloing most of my af+1 pieces (only low-manned for triggers, solo'd when not an option due to lack of people). I have solo'd as BLU, SMN, BLM, and thf but i find NIN to be the easiest for both time spent and effectiveness.

My only problem with soloing on NIN is the cost of it. Ninja tools have gotten quite expensive as of late and if your crafting isn't high enough, NIN can get pretty expensive. BST has this problem with JUGS, but at least you can still charm normal mobs if there are any around you. DNC is pretty much free. SMN is okay once you get the Avatars. BLU takes a lot of time to develop. THF is good but typically has the same expense problem with /NIN. SAM/NIN is the same. For a free solo, I would say that DNC is the best, would be interesting to see how a DNC/SAM would work.

Wow this is a total lie, soloers are probably the best players in the game cuz they dont need a group of people to go kill things and keep them alive. They can take care of themselves, maybe they just dont like partying w/ naive unskilled players that have the most annoying conversations anyway... u ever think of that haha.

I can party w/ the best of them, and have a huge Friendslist... but soloing takes skill and knowing ur job. A good advernturer can help a party or friend out like no one else, and can also solo and take care of themselves.

or for people who don't have friends, or who do not feel like shouting for hours for help on something that offers no reward to the players helping (like mostly everything anyone needs help with)

I loved NIN/DNC back when cap was 75, I wouldnt know now its 90 (or when its 99), but I think NIN/DNC would still be one of the bests?

BST, easily.
Everytime I see someone talk it up about awesome some solo job is I'm usually very disappointed with the tale. They start bragging about what they have solo'd or can solo on this and that job... and as a bst, the impression is.. "and then?.." because Its a rediculous easy solo on bst. There are a few situational fights where other jobs will win out. Usually smn or rdm because magic is where bst are weakest.
DNC only very rarely solo's something bst cannot. Don't get me wrong, Its a fun job and very capable, but it just doesn't surpass bst at soloing stuff, imo.

I'm surprised no one said RDM. They are often used to solo NM's of various kinds.

I love my bluemage, but its nowhere close to bst when soloing stuff. Granted there are plenty of blu out there better than myself, but aside from very few magical resistance tanking opportunities... BST just stomps all over it. Completely.

Pup is a really good soloer too in many situations... then again being able to blast big nukes and then have the NM walk away because it's target disappeared just seems... unfair. oh well.

I'm pretty sure BST can solo more situations better than any other job.

I loved BST and used it a lot to solo various NM's for people, but the thing is with BST its not YOU soloing, its the Mob, and if the mobs dies you go get another and then that Mob is fighting. I was just stood there spectating a lot of the time. Felt very boring. So I went NIN/DNC, but there are plenty of fights that I just wouldnt be able to do as NIN/DNC.

RDM pretty good too i forgot, i think i choose NIN/DNC because of how engaging it is and joyful.

I'd have to say if i had no choice but one..i'd say PUP. best job i know of that can solo well.

I play DNC SMN and BST those jobs are my ideal Solo jobs.

SMN throw an Avatar at something and you run away screaming like a sissy and rinse and repeat.

BST is another one except they have more guts and use crap like cannon fodder, who cares if your partner dies, there's plenty of those where they came from. ;P

DNC my favorite, takes about forver to kill something big and evil but hey, you feel good when it dies.
