    Weather off command not working

    Platform:
    Computer Windows XP

    ISP:
    Motorola

    Type of Internet Connection:
    wireless

    Internet Connection Speed:
    54mbps

    Date & Time:
    Sense March update: March30,2012 2p.m.-Pst

    Frequency:
State how frequently the issue occurs. Please select from the following.
    1. Always
Whenever you zone into an area that has weather occuring

    Character Name:
    Tigeriss

    Race:
    Mithra

    World:
    Cerbuncle

    Main Job:
    99 puppet master

    Support Job:
    dancer

    Area and Coordinates:
Mount Zahlom, world (where there is weather occurring)

    Party or Solo:
Party (6 members) as well as when Solo

    NPC Name:
    none

    Monster Name:
    none

    Steps:
I have been out farming weather geodes and puppetmaster trolls for parts when the weather would kick up. Now under config on my menu I have weather selected to off but yet in game the weather is visible and worse then ever. I started noticing this problem after the latest server update and sense then I have not been able to shut off weather effects on the game. It was the one reason why I liked the windows (computer) version of the game was the ability to shut off those effects making play time on the game fun and enjoyable.
I have tried going back under my config menu and turning the weather effects on and off to see if that maybe the problem but nothing happens. Please look into this and hopefully get it fixed or at least let me know if there is a type in command that may work. It's been making farming, watching out for links, and fights hard because of the inability to see the monsters around my character.

just curious what you are seeing as weather in Mt. Z. If I remember right, the blurring/distortion effect from the heat out there can not be turned off (this is also present inside Halvung as well)--as it is not implemented as a weather effect per se. The weather effect you would be disabling would likely be the sandstorms if it is earth weather occuring, not the heat distortions that are a normal part of the zone.

Its not blurry as much as for say like the sand storms and blizzards you would normally see with weather effects on and out in altepa or bec. glacier. When there is no weather there is no problem, the blurryness from the heat vents doesn't bother me and I learned to just ignore that while out there but this weather problem has been happening in altepa and in other areas of the game where we get earth, ice, and rain weather.
