    You guys really enjoy having to go back to your mog house for each upgrade and then walk back to an exp camp? If you're doing GoV, you lose all of your prowess in the process of having to dump them. Abyssea experience points reset when you get back too. Raising the cap would make this less of a burden.

    might as well ask SE to add test-moogle on live server into everyMH so you just need to hit a button to get capped merit

    No it wouldn't. What came with the last cap raise? Weapon Skill merits. Know how many 1 upgrade takes? 20, know how much others take? 25 then eventually 30, the full merit point cap. If they raised it to 100 and you have nothing else to realistically merit, guess what they'll likely be introducing? Yep something that takes 100 merits for 1 upgrade.

    So in the end there wouldn't be any "cap > camp > mh > spend > repeat" alleviation.
