help error code pol - 1160

i've played for bout a year with no problems whatsoever. today i go to log on in the pol viewer and it gets stuck on the checking playonline viewer version... and the beeping that normally accompanies that screen is gone after it gives the version update communication error. when i finally exit off the error screen another pops up saying version update failed.

ive tried restarting reinstalling checked the files nothing seems to fix it. if it helps im on the xbox version of the game and the playonline version is 1.18.15a any help would be appreciated
