Please let SMN use Shepherd's Chain

SMN is one of the 4 pet jobs we can use in FFXI, alongside BST, DRG and PUP. However, SE didn't decide to add SMN to the Shepherd's Chain neck item dropped From Okyupete: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Shepherd%27s_Chain

It should be on there for 2 reasons:
    1) As stated above, SMN is a PET JOB.
    2) Misareaux Coast AND Okyupete were released in the CoP expansion, which came out a year and a half after RoTZ for JP PS2 players.

Please consider the above and add SMN to Shepherd's Chain. Even other non pet jobs can use this, so I don't see why SMN can't.

This was the typical pet rubbish they released. BST or DRG then loads of other jobs that would never have any need for it. Personally that's due a Upgrade anyway to a 5% piece.

Best Summoner gets is a Pneuma Collar with Pet: Evasion +4 with a Red Coral Key. There are actually better offensive buffs you can get for the slot, especially considering how expendable Avatars are (such as, on the same key, a Aureate Necklace with Pet: Crit Rate +3%).

All that said, I wonder if stat based merits work on pets - with the exception of the overload mechanics (well, as how I remember them working for PUP) it would be a mighty boon if meriting stuff like stat merits or Crit rate helped to buff your pets. It just seems like something that should work to buff pets.

As a bit of a side thought, if there is an upgraded version of this piece that mimics the Twilight Torque for pets it should also give some more offensive stats as well - seeing more Pet: Haste options would be a fine addition... maybe "Damage Taken -5% Pet: Damage Taken -5% Pet: Haste +5%" or something much like that.
