Can we have our Tetra Master files deleted in the next version update?

It seems like we still have Tetra Master files. Can we have them deleted in the next update? It would be very nice for PS2 players, certainly.

I'm assuming that the files are still there, because I still have Tetra Master options in my All Programs list on the PC version.

I agree, I see no reason as to why we still have these installed if user can't nor play Tetra Master wasted space.

I'm still hoping they'll reinstate it at some point. Also, PS2 hardware has plenty of space, especially now. And especially considering the entire thing is only 70MB, which is barely 0.6% of FFXI's total size.

There's no reason you can't just delete them yourself if they bother you that much.

The PC installation of the Tetra Master is tied with the PlayOnline Viewer, Therefore the PC users can't uninstall Tetra Master safely without effecting the game cause we need the PlayOnline Viewer to log into Final Fantasy XI. I'm not sure how the consoles work and really don't care. I upgraded along time ago.

    Oh really?

Just navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix

select the TetraMaster folder. Press the delete key.

    Should work just fine.

No file in that folder is needed by PlayOnline to function. You can't even access the Tetra Master top page anymore, so there's no chance of anything going wrong.

I'm fairly certain Tetra Master on PS2 shows up as its own application under the PS2 HDD that you can delete from the PS2's mem card/HDD browser.

Not like any other game that's still alive on that platform even uses the drive though...

PS2 can just delete Tetra Master from the Browser, it's a seperate program on the HDD. Windows users can just delete the Tetra Master folder in their FFXI install path, one folder before FFXI itself.

Nobunaga's Ambition Online and SOCOM 3 are still running, and they use the HDD.
