    A little problem I'm hving

Every time I get near a Conflux in abyssea my frame rate drops, I lag, can barely move and my fans start going to town. As soon as I leave the immediate area of the conflux, fans slow down, frame rate goes to normal (for my machine). Also finding the lag in Jeuno is worse for me.

This has never happen before, wondering if I need to change some settings or get new graphic drivers (last updated end of last year).

sometimes a driver change causes this (like, if you got a driver via Windows Update, etc.), but could also be a change in your configuration. Have you recently changed drivers or anything like background/foreground resolutions, the quality settings of your graphics, etc.?

I have only changed the graphics drivers thru Nvidia download (go to the website) which was in Dec, I haven't done any Windows updates in about a month. I did, now that I think about it change the config in game, to show effects on myself, but as usual drove me crazy so turned them off again. This all started around that time a couple days ago. I also if it matters run vista. I have rebooted so changes should have gone back to normal.
