You got booted, my Xbox really did wind up freezing up and I had to force shut it down and couldn't log back in even on my Apple. I recommend patience and understanding until an official statement be made.

My guess its the problems earlier today might have caused the servers to crash.. That or the Blms casting Meteor on the Test server all at once

Since they list the cause as "Under Investigation" on the POL site, I don't think they know.
