POL Crashes within 5 seconds

I just finished building my first PC. I use Win7 64bit and EVGA Nvidia GTX 560. I am using the 275.33 driver since it is closest to the drivers test by SE.

I installed FFXI through Steam. After completing the install I click play. The pol splash comes up, then the POL screen comes up for first time players. I click next and it starts to update. However after 5 or so seconds it just closes out. I reopened everything and just sat there and again within 5 or so seconds it just closed.

I have been playing FFXI nonstop since 2004 on my PS2, PS3, my 10 year old desktop, and now my new one. I really don't want to have to stop playing now cause of some issue.

I have also tried just using the integrated graphics card however I have the same issue.

I am going to try a fresh clean install tonight and see.

Any thoughts??
