Favorite old party spots?

Cape terrigan in 04 was one of my favorites. Being packed into that tunnel by the beach with one or two other parties, and people going ballistic when they got too close and the other parties mob aoe'd. Before people whined, and cried so much they nerfed true aoe's on everything except a few HNM.

By far the best for me tho was Yhoater Jungle my 1st time thru. Was such an adventure to get there, and not many people knew the way back out lol. Blm's shouting for d2's home for 500gil. Met some awesome people at those camps!

I am so glad they changed that though, I got oneshotted once trying to get to a Bibiki bay party once.... i died on a chobobo....... (lest i found out it was possible, funny at the same time)

Rambus add Bibiki Bay gobs to end of that list as well lol. And some people did hit 75 in KRT, depending on if you were BLM, MNK BRD RRDM or BRD anyway lol.

It is there, I know there is lower levels for bibiki bay but I am not very well aware of them since I was in my 70s on 1 or 2 jobs around that time.

ill add KRT though, I knew i forgot a few.

there is a few bat parties one in krt one in the tunnels of casle sandy but I forget the level ranges, and was not very plopular.

KRT first was around in the 50's i remember someone talking about rampage, I do not remember when you do bats in sandy tunnels though

And the underground for KRT you did bats worms and beetles 50-60 if i remember right. the lvls for mobs in that area: Bats 62-64, Beetle 64-66, and worms 58-60. The 70+ were burn mobs only from what i remember which would have been the Ghosts and Skeles.

I remember Beetles in KRT. You'd camp on the stairs but since they would aggro, you'd eventually get one on the roof above the stairs that would aggro the puller every so often.

It was such a PITA to get a party to go there.

There were also the thousand eye mobs down there to exp on.

Sorry Rambus you were right Bibiki Bay was there i just missed it lol.

The one under Sandy is Bostaunieux Oubliette. Mobs there range from 52-70 not counting the NM's.

yes you needed to banish ghosts since they are blunt resistant, most pts I was in would hold tp a bit when getting near one since that reistance could brake chain.

as for Bostaunieux Oubliette, i have no idea, i remember going there to kill bats near the ron one way down zone

in KRT though I remember long ago freaking out seeing a 1.7k dragon kick with a 1.1k ish or so fragmentation, mob died in liek 2 seconds, oneshoted by that sc.

I never got a chance to do MNK burns in KRT, but manaburns sucked. I hated it because I always died in every single manaburn I ever participated in.
