Ah, for once you say something I can't agree with. BLU will never be a bandwagon job, thank Altana. It requires a lot of time, effort and dedication to be good at.

I have to agree with Scuro here. It annoys me to no end the number of people I see running around in full AFv3, who never wanted my help because "blu isn't a real job". They only have a small assortment of spells, because the other ones are "useless"

The real way to pick these people out is to fight with them outside of Abyssea or VW. When all their mp is gone within 15sec, you know its just another bandwagoner.

This, without doubt. Logwatch is perhaps the most annoying even a BLU can go to because the shear number of possible procs. Even if you were to clear your set points of everything except for procs you can still only set half of of them for BLU. And since (for whatever ungodly reason) people don't think of getting 2 BLU, that leaves just one BLU to cover them all. Considering how fast people burn through LWNM that's nearly impossible.

It's even worse when you have people taking way too long to trigger a proc, because your party setup is configured inefficiently enough to rely on just your WAR for 90% of the weapon procs. So say if one of your other melees has BLU and another job that helps cover a wide variety of other procs, and you're missing out if you have that person come BLU, compared to having them come the job they would offer more with.

We have people not showing up to events and hiding the fact they have BLU from pickup groups, all because SE has made BLU's methods of procing voidwatch weaknesses fundamentally flawed and time-consuming in comparison to the rest of the 19 jobs available for voidwatch. I do not think it is a bad idea to take on this issue somehow.

If SE refuses to look into this, because they believe it would be a threat to balance, allow me to go hang myself.

What year have you been playing this game in? O_O Cuz I would love to be there, the job is a bandwagon job because its necessary for pricing, which is why now a days 45% at the least of BLU's are BLUs for their LS, not out of personal choice and preference. Its a sad age for BLU that we live in honestly, when I have to fight a BLU that wears full +2 and me who macros TP and DD sets, on who plays BLU. hell I don't even like breathing the same air as this filth....

I'm the only full time BLU in my shell, there are maybe 3 others who even have the job leveled. We all have or do go way out of our way to get all the spells (even the useless ones) and we go for gear other than just AF3 +2 (although bits of that are very good as TP gear), most high level BLU I deign to speak to are much the same. It's my experience that these lolblu are not the majority, thankfully.

It annoys me too. A person I often static with, for example, calls BLU lol merely because he was incapable of playing it. His job: lolsam.
