Weird Connection Issue

Hey!
I recently reactivated my account, and have been trying to play. I had this connection issue for a while, but I had solved it. Now I have a new issue. I am connection to PoL, and everything fine now, but when I click "Play" this window pops up saying "Please wait while Windows tries to configure FFXI." If I wait it eventually asks for my FFXI disks. If I cancel it opens twice more, then FFXI opens. It immediately crashes, and with a window that says "Playonline Viewer has stopped responding," then it closes FFXI. Not sure what could be causing this issue. I did a File Check, and repaired this odd 7k file problem, and am still having the issue.

Anyone have any advice on what is going down?

This does not sound so much a connection issue as an installation issue. It sounds like FINAL FANTASY XI is either not installed, or just not installed properly. We would recommend uninstalling the entire package through the appropriate option in your Control Panel, and then reinstalling from your installation media (DVD or digital download, whichever the case may be). This should resolve the problems you are experiencing.
