I wander will anyone actual get a fully upgraded 99 mythic, relic, or empyrean weapon.
If you walk over to the Corsair forum, you have a display that says BST roll is FIXED values, and in the update notes they are PERCENT. Which is it? Don't the developers even know what rolls do?
You still haven't explained "Reduced summoning magic recast". Use REAL words. Either call it "Spirit offensive magic recast" or "Pet resummoning delay". You expect us to give our opinion, and then you do not explain yourself. And then you claim you know what we want, and intend on changing it next update.The Elemental MP Cost merit point enhancement now reduces MP cost by three points per level instead of one.
*Beginning with the next version update, merit point enhancements will reduce summoning magic recast times instead of elemental magic MP cost.
I speak English, and would prefer if you tried to do so as well.
The gear from Nyzul Isle Randomly Random Edition is pretty amazing, at least. Most of it is usable as early as the +2 stage and a contender or outright winner for best-in-slot for at least one purpose when fully upgraded.
They're adjusting a half-hidden and poorly commented line of code that will do something to summoning magic and recast, and whatever it does, that will be the change. Just hope really hard that it doesn't affect recast of ninjutsu and blue magic when used by avatars, because it's the only line of code they could find either way.
Other than them breaking the mouse movement, this update has basically no effect on me. =/
And I figured they would have noticed it on the test-server (I know I did), and fix it before it going live but nope.
That said, I did pretty much know what this update had in it already beforehand, so I'm not too disappointed.
I guess I was still hoping them to fix ye Olde Rarab Tail already though, so I could try some different things with that.
Oh well, maybe next time, hopefully sooner than later. ^^;
The improved 'battle-graphics' look OK I guess, but they should cover the PC/NPC names I think, instead of the other way around...
...or so the legend says.
Going by the length of the update notes it looks like most of it relates to content that the vast majority of players are specifically not intended to be able to complete.
As for stuff that affects me, I suppose I'll try the new Nyzul at sometime. I imagine there's little point lining up for it now. Not sure how many parties it will hold, but I'll hazard a guess it's somewhere around the neighborhood of not nearly enough. I wonder how fast the overcrowding measures will come.
Anything that makes my waltzes better I'm grateful for. The SMN update... spirits... um... ok... SAM Warding Circle... I'll remember that if I'm ever SAM in Dynamis-Xarcabard. Victory Smite nerf I give that a big thumbs down. I think that's all for job updates that directly affect me.
I'm still not seeing anything to get me to do Voidwatch or Walk of Echoes. To someone looking in from the outside, VW seems a tad complex, daunting, and not terribly rewarding. Walk of Echoes is reasonably entertaining and I used to do it whenever I could, but I can't do it alone and there's still nothing renewing interest for it that I can see.
Oh well, back to the grind of working on the empy I'll never actually be able to complete. /yawn
Highlight of the update for me....Nin sneak and invis will cast faster.....whoppie!
Not seeing many doing it, yet, and I think they already implemented the 30 minute wait for repeating it?
Honestly I think it's a bit excessive, the 24 hours per tag is probably enough...
Maybe I am wrong, maybe it will hit off at times, I mean really hit off but I have my doubts.
Time will show. ^^;
Edit:
Had some people comment that it was tricky to get in, so I guess there is a bit of a crowd even if the area(s) don't show it. It's to be expected right after the battlefield event is implemented, though. I still doubt it will be overly congested... or may bee it will!

...or so the legend says.
