    It means the same thing it has always meant. The casting timer on spirits, the one affected by smn magic and AF2 pants and day and weather, will be shortened by merits.

    AF2 pants have different wording.

    Also, spirits have a hard cap at about 20ish seconds delay reduction anyway, so unless the new merits bypass the cap, it is useless changes.

    But useless changes is what defines a SMN
