Correct me if I am wrong, which I probably am, but I though the rankings for chocobo racing was separate and different from the actual conquest ranking as if the ranking is based on wins by nation or something. at least I thought i saw that before in the circuit.

Anyway that was a while back but I agree in general in games and life it is always easier to become champion than stay champion and more should be done to reflect his reality like giving best saddle to the lowest rank, normal to the 2nd rank and the worst to the 1st place nation. It would give the infamous "balance" SE likes to badger us with if I am right about the rankings being separate.

Otherwise you are right on point. With the redistribution of mobs in old areas where you can sometimes find mobs higher level than average mobs in that area to exp on to affect conquest, as well as other areas in the region, that would be the best way to change the rankings.

That is how on Diabolos server before the merge we finally took over windurst to finally get that OP teleport. It was a group effort by the nation of Bastok.

Suggestion: Make chocobo racing actually fun like FF7.

Seriously. I want to race my chocobo, not watch a NPC ride it through a cutscene. The only fix that chocobo racing needs is to make it actually, er... players racing chocobos. Anything other than that is, for lack of a better word, lame.

Zackan. Nation Rank and Chocobo Nation Rank are two completely different things. Step into the chocobo circuit the next time you get a chance and wait for a bit to see the "nation results".

Actual game nation rank fluctuates as normal. It's the Racing Rank I'm talking about.
I would LOVE to get a bunch of peeps to raise chocobos for racing. Especially for their own nation. Raising a bird ready for the C4 races takes roughly 71 days and 600,000 gil. It involves the daily checking on bird, growing carrots, crafting (or buying) chocolixirs, and saving up over 1900 chocobucks. Use of green racing silks is highly recommended.

I love Garrison and Expeditionary Forces, by the way.
