SCH JA Modus Veritas Broken in Voidwatch

I am creating yet another post about the fact that the SCH JA Modus Veritas is not triggering in Voidwatch. I am creating this post because there been reports of this being a problem since the level 95 cap. I have lost count of the number of triggers that my linkshell has lost because Modus Veritas does not trigger. I do understand the reason that Modus Veritas was nerfed in first place, however since the stacking effect that also caused the problem I am not entirely sure why the move still misses the majority of the time.

As I can find, the problem was originally brought up on September 12, 2011 (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/14745-Scholar-and-Voidwatch )

Since the post on September 12, was made adjustments have been made to Modus Veritas to lower the recast timer, as a part of the adjustment I was hoping that this problem would also be fixed. It clearly hasn’t because at my last count there have been at least 4 other posts since then. Each post has said that someone was looking into the problem. There has been no news on any of those posts, the upcoming version updates, or www. playonline.com. (Those are the places that you recommend that people look for updates in the reply to this error report.)


In the past 5 months there has been no recognition that there is any problem with Modus Veritas. If it is working as intended please say so. If every person that plays SCH is missing a possible trigger please give us the please “look at community websites” response so we know that we are missing something. And if there is a problem please say so. (It will save you time reading the same post every time a serious SCH posts that the move is broken, as a trigger, thus saving you as a company time that can be spent on other endeavors to fix other errors in the game.) I know that it may take time for the problem to be fixed but when every other job has JA triggers that work 100% of the time and SCH has one that can land 50% (in my personal experience) the damage dealers do not understand when you say that it landed and that it still does not take effect.

Area and Coordinates: Any Voidwatch battle
Party or Solo: Party
Steps:
1. Wait for current helix to wear on monster. (I keep on up and want to know that it is a new helix if case length of helix matters for triggering.)
2. Cast New Helix
3. Use JA Modus Veritas. (I have use all menu combinations, and macros to use JA and spell)
4. If Modus Veritaslands, it does not trigger.
5. Try Libra (still no trigger.)

Since the level 99 cap not one of the Modus Veritas that has landed as triggered on a single monster.

Like I said before I do understand that it may take time to fix the problem. But 5 months is more than enough time to see if the ability is or is not working and to let the members of this community know.
