Friend unable to progress in WOTG because cutscenes kick them off the server

I helped my friend with "A Feast for Gnats" yesterday. They play on a PS3. The cutscenes leading up to the fight were fine and the fight went well. They needed to go to Windurst for the final cutscene from Dhea Prandoleh to finish the quest and get the reward.

At the same place in the cutscene, they were kicked off the server 3 times in a row. Lehko Habhoka moves a chesspiece, then the scene cuts to something else and as soon as it does, my friend is kicked off the server and has to completely relog in. As I mentioned, this happened three times in a row.

In the missions, they always get a black screen when the point of view changes on a cutscene but are able to finish the mission by relogging in - unfortunately they cannot continue in the missions until they finish this quest and are stuck unable to finish it.

Is there a work around?

long time known issue for the consoles with various cut scenes.

Might have to do the same thing the PS2 users did in the past--somehow login as a guest on a PC version.

Had to have a good friend do all my CS on many of the missions as my PS3 was frozen with no possibility of recovery, mostly on those where the CS starts as you zone into a new area. Absolutely no help now in foreseeable future from SE on any PS2/3 issues.

Unfortunately we are a few states apart, so don't know how helping him with cutscenes would work out. So it's a known problem and being purposefully ignored? Wow.

1) change password 2) give friend account login info and text him the one time security code 3) have friend spam thru the CSs and exit game 4) change password.
note: only do this with someone you absolutely trust with your account as will have full access to all characters.

Same mission same thing happening to a friend right now atm. She is changing over to a different consul to see if that works but yeah this needs to be fixed. I am going to give her a link to here so she can file a report.
