Off and on for eight years i have laughed, been angry, been frustrated, developed friendships, and most importantly, had a wonderful time playing FFXI. This is the longest i have ever played a game consistently and i must say it has been awesome. Real life has finally caught up as i have gotten older and more involved in the real world, but damn i will miss those first times such as:
1. Entering Sky the first time
2. Beating CoP when it was an actual challenge
3. Joining Kizunas
4. First Time in Limbus and Sea.
5. Having a macro set and party that could actually skill chain and magic burst AM in the 50s
6. Our Linkshells first relic
7. Laughing on teamspeak to the early hours in the morning with all my linkshell mates.
8. First piece of Relic armor from Dynamis
9. Going back to the dunes at lvl 30 to kill all the goblin trains by selbina.
10. The one regret. Never killing AV... but hey, i sure died to it a lot back in the day. LOL
A special thanks goes to Azmatic and Ahiyam who have remained my friends throughout this time.
I am not leaving with bitter thoughts about how the game changed or how the developers suck, because to be quite honest the journey really was a blast. I wish i had more time but unfortunately I got a little older and a few more responsibilities.
So enjoy the time you have with this game because someday you will lose the ability to play this RPG and have to play RL every day. Thank you SE, Kizunas, and Ranarok for a wonderful time. Ecoop Signing out!
