    Need tips on Gear Improvements for TP and WS

    ok, so i stuck some massive work into my blu TP and WS builds, and ive kind of hit a wall here, and need a hand figuring out what to focus on now

    WS gear:

    any suggestions on this one? i think i might be just about perfect on it, not sure tho. i know i need to get my TP bonus earring still, but thats the only thing i think im missing

    im 2 haste short on this build, as toci's dosent hit its owner... if it did id be set :/
    where can i find 2 more melee haste ;_;

    yea i know, but id rather start a fresh thread, vs going and reposting in a thread that got blown up and derailed lol >_>

    ive been seriosuly thinking of investing in the +1, but i cant stand the thought of 8.5M for +1dex/agi/haste >_>; i might cry if i do that to my wallet lol

    HQ your head is the expensive option, but probably the best choice. Then you're only 0.6% haste away from cap. If you really wanted you could use Tiercal necklace, but I think it was determined the stats you could get in that slot instead (Rancor / Portus Collar especially) beat 0.6% haste.

    You can replace the headpiece with zelus tiara. That would cap your haste but i can't say whether its worth it. My guess would be not until you're in near haste cap situation where the extra ~1.6% haste beats the 3 TA and dex.

    Edit: another option, ephemeron. good luck with that drop, lol.

    Athos legs/body is good for WS, and you can get more haste if you +1 your head.

    just snagged athos legs yesterday, and ive been really debating on buying the hat, but 8m for 1 haste makes me want to cry lol :/ thinking of just getting the tierciel necklace or getting a hasty pinion, idk if that would drop me down to a lower Xhit bracket on BLU tho.

    Hasty Pinion is a horrible idea, and losing 5% crit rate for <1% haste is as well. Ocelomeh headpiece +1 is the only acceptable solution.

    Pretty sure all of this was answered in the other thread btw. Two threads so far even.

    DW tier > TP Per hit> Swings to reach 100tp > DW attack rounds
    Dw 3, 5.13% TP per hit > 20 swings > 10 attack rounds
    Dw2, 5.58% TP per hit > 18 Swings > 9 attack rounds
    Dw1, 5.89% TP per hit > 17 swings > 9 attack rounds

    Just Suppa
    DW tier > TP Per hit> Swings to reach 100 TP > DW attack rounds
    DW3, 5.37% TP per hit > 19 swings > 10 attack rounds
    Dw2, 5.83% TP per hit > 18 swings > 9 attack rounds
    Dw1, 6.15% TP per hit > 17 swings > 9 attack rounds

    so, the only time that the hasty pinion will loose out, is when you recieve an odd number of multi-swings, and it will be a margin of one swing. idk, but that does not look like a huge hit to take in your DPS.... thats less then a 2% diffrence in damage if my head math is right.... and when you consider the only stats your loosing is 10 accuracy 1 dex 1 agi, to not have to shell out 8.5million lol... ( if you didnt already notice im TPing in nearly 180 dexterity, maxed Sword skill/merits, and pretty high acc to begin with lol)

    With Rajas Ring, Brutal Earring, Store TP, and Suppanomimi, you're getting 5.1 TP per hit. With Hasty Pinion, that's reduced to 4.8. That makes for an entire round of difference to reach 100TP before accounting for accuracy and multiattacks. In contrast, that extra <1% haste that you're gaining from a hasty pinion is worth relatively little, under a quarter of a second of attack delay.


    A one handed weapon is always going to be more likely to benefit from every point of store TP. Losing 5 is a big deal. Losing 8m is not.
