Jug pet Treasure Hunter Nerf incoming

レベル99のバランスにおけるトレジャーハンターの調整の一環として、以下の呼び出しペットの持つトレジャーハンターの効果を1段階までに変更する予定です。

• 七つ星のユリィ
• 忠義のファルコア

※ペットの持つ能力としての段階が1ということになりますので、装備品などで「ペット：トレジャーハンター+」のような効果があった場合は累積されます。


大前提として、トレジャーハンターの恩恵は以下の順で高くなるようにしたいと考えています。

1. シーフ
2. 狩人
3. サポートジョブシーフ
4. その他のジョブ

※狩人はメインジョブの支援能力として新たに「バウンティショット」を得たことで、これを有効に活用できればサポートジョブよりやや上の恩恵、という位置付けになっています。

しかしながら、レベルの上限が75→99に上がっていった過程で、この順序がジョブによっては曖昧になっていたり、捻れが生じてきていることを受けて、改めて方針を明確に定め、それに沿った調整を図っていくというのが今回の狙いになります。

その中でも最たるものが、レベル上限の解放に伴ってトレジャーハンターの段階が上がって行った呼び出しペットということになり、まずはその点を調整させていただきたいと思います。

調整の方法については、呼び出しペットのジョブを変更する／トレジャーハンターの性能はあまり引き下げない代わりにペットのパラメータを下げる／特殊技の利便性を見直すなど、いくつかの切り口で検討を行いましたが、最終的に戦闘力を削ぐ方向での調整は好ましくないだろうという判断から、トレジャーハンターの段階引き下げのみを行うことになりました。
なお、この調整に伴って、トレジャーハンターの効果を前提として設定していた「博打汁」の合成材料を緩和する予定です。
※今回の調整対象は呼び出しペットですが、将来的にもしオートマトンや召喚獣などがトレジャーハンターを有することになった場合も、同じ方向性に揃えていくことを意図しています。


補足になりますが、更に別の方向性として、ドロップ確率のテーブルを変更して方針に沿うようなバランスを取ることも検討していました。しかしドロップ確率の変更すると全てのアイテムの入手確率がこれまでと変わってしまうことになり、影響が大きすぎることに加えて、逆転してしまっている順序を入れ替えるには至らないことから、ドロップ確率の調整は行わないという結論になりました。


広範囲に影響のあるテーマとして受け止めていただいたうえで、様々な視点からのご意見をお聞かせください。

I know some people may love this(i.e. the screw solo BSTs in Dyna crowd), but for me I would prefer better bonuses on the back end of the TH tiers from 4 on. I really don't agree that a /THF subjob should have more TH than a THF jug pet.

BST are getting used to it now.

It has no place in any party situation so it's basically made to be solo, then all they do is nerf it.

First they take Charm away.
Then they add only jugpets on a ~5 minute recast.
Then they add it to the proc system in VoidWatch which means you have to spam expensive pets.
Now they remove traits from the pets that are the jobs that gain them because they suck at making TH better for THF's without just removing it from BST.

As a non-bandwagon BST who doesn't solo Dynamis (I only go with LS friends on DNC), a nerf of any kind seems pretty unfair to me. What did I do wrong? What did the people soloing Dynamis on BST do wrong? It's hardly the only job that can do so. So what if they're good at it? Shouldn't every job at least be good at something? I thought that was SE's idea of balance... to have one job be good at one thing while another job was good somewhere else. Not that I agree with that design strategy, but still...

Not exactly, but it feels like a slap in the face when a BST is able to get a mob to drop more items than if you are a THF main.

That has less to do with bst with pets that have th2 and more to do with YAY PERCENTS when a thf can easily triple or quadruple that number. Maybe even go higher then that depending how fast a mob dies.

So instead of a murder mystery we have a nerf mystery.. We know who the nerfer is but WHO GOING TO GET NERFED NEXT! Will IT BE WHITE MAGE IN THE CURING DEPARTMENT WITH A SOLACE NERF!? OR BLUES ON THE AOE CAT WALK WITH A CHARGED WHISKER NERF!?

whats a "career bst" exctly? Someone who doesnt get to do any content? So your stupid ladybug will have TH1 for a bit, wah wah wah...if youre a career bst youll get those pet:TH+ items and seperate yourself from the garbage perle bsts that seem to be running everywhere.

I never used the term "career BST" so don't ask me about terms I didn't use. I will get whatever gear I'm able to get thanks very much, and I'm not here to set myself apart from anyone. I get the best I can, because I want to be the best I can. You're the one who comes off as needing to feel above others and look down on them whether it's due to gear or Job Traits/Abilities.
