Everytime I try to download abyssea add-ons, I am redirected to square-enix account management website. Where I don't see anything related to adding content ID. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thank you.

Go buy the Abyssea Special Edition FFXI - on Steam or Amazon, currently around $20. Download or get the access code and the destrier beret code with it free with your purchase. Go to your Square Enix account management page - click Service and Options - Select Service - FFXI. Then click the blue box -Add A Service Account. You should add the code you just got from the Abyssea special edition - and also the beret as well to one of your character.
Sign in to your account. On left hand scroll down to service and options click select service then again on the account you wish to update click on the options list i think its there.I may be wrong forgive me if i am.
On a related note; when I registered my beret, I gave it to my new character, After several weeks, I decided I didn't like playing that character and re-created my original character from when I used to play. To the point, I realize I can't send the beret, but should I decide to delete the character that has it, what happens to the beret? Can I reclaim it with a different character or is it lost forever?
I do not apologize for my sarcasm, I just ask that you have a damn sense of humor. I'm the comic relief, dammit!
I would guess that it is one code per character no matter what, and the Knowledge Base Article 59270 seems like it is saying the same.
Slightly different wording on the NA-site.
That is, just a guess however.
I don't remember seeing an official, clear and specific "no you can never ever use the same code for another character, ever". It would seem likely to be the case, however, but would be nice to get a real confirmation on.
...or so the legend says.
