This is such bull! I am going to erase my char! you hunt for a few hours for ki's to pop chloris for monk weapon trial to get buds...and you get doomed use about 5+ holy waters but does'nt come off and die!!! Then before you get a chance to get nm back someone steals your NM wtf! SE Now we have to hunt ki's again...i guess you think people have no life! I"M QUITING and to be sure i do i'm going to erase my char...can't believe i pay to play a game like this!

Would you believe that once upon a time, you would have about 30+ people fighting to get claim for a Monster Signa? It's the nature of the beast. I don't want to sound like a dick, but you got claim, you died and someone else took over. Oh well. It has been this way for a decade. If THAT is a good enough reason for you to quit playing, then it's probably best that you do and go back to playing single player RPG's.

You could do what the rest of us do; get pissed, log off and try again later when you calm down and realize that you just yelled at fiction and laugh about it.

I almost envy you if that was the worst thing that ever happened to you. Wiping due to doom can so easily be prevented by simply having a second DD standing ready for when the first one croaks. Some fights are simply not meant to be done solo/duo. It leads up to one of the best weapons in the game after all, I don't think asking to do it with two other people is such a bad thing.

Having said that, I do agree that the curing rate on Holy Waters or Cursna is surprisingly low, and I don't really see the point in it. Maybe just increase it to 50%?

make it better next time or gather more informations before you Fight anything like Chloris shit happens welcome to FFXI you ar the best example why i got my lvl 90+ in Abyssea people ar such a fail....

This is not my first time fighting Chloris i have won several times and died before and i was duoing with a whm who was casting cursna while i was using holy water, this is not a time pop where you can go AFK and come back at TOD i am not a new person to the game been playing for 6+ years. What i'm saying is if you farm hours for KI's fight an NM and you can't take doom off AT ALL!! and you have to get 50 drops from this NM? Way to much of my time...good luck people waisting your time and (real) money. I have learned my leason time to get stuff done in my real life

You don't HAVE to. You can, if you want, not get the weapon and never have to fight Chloris. That's what I did. I know 2 other Monks who complained about the time it took to farm Chloris pops for their Verethragnas, but I just kinda shrugged and said "No thanks, not worth my time if I don't think it's fun."

^This, same reason I decided not to do my vere, helped a friend with hers, it doesn't feel worth the time especially if you can't get 8 other people to hold KIs for you lol I still say the h2h trial is backwards, tons of KIs on first nm and no ws, 2 KI on 2nd nm for ws, 1 KI on 90 o.O
