It can vary across different apps/suites. Might need to go into an advanced/expert config menu to get at some sort of exception/ignore list, or safe site/trusted site list and add the URL to it. As for settings, it might be something in the advanced settings for your browser where scripting/java/security is managed--things like pop-up blocking, or cross-domain scripting and such might be defaulting to automatically disable/block the activity and you need to set it to prompt or enable/allow. Could simply be a security plugin that is blocking it (like a pop-up blocker or other kind of security plugin that is filtering content).
