A while back there were quite a few of us elemental type summoners who'd spam thunder IV every so often. While it still has it's applications, it's in need of higher tiered spells. Covenant covered this ages ago.

01-28-2012 06:53 AM #12There are a few really slow fights where a spirit is cheaper and stronger than an avatar. It mainly involves other spirits, when physical damage is worthless.

That's why they should do more to boost the spirits rather than leave them back to lv75... maybe they're making the change but didn't announce it in fear of blms protesting.
