Why are you still subbing WAR?

At this point in the game, you don't need provoke on PLD.

I'm just not convinced that a small change happening prevents other, perhaps more profound, changes from happening. If you hadn't noticed, they've shifted gears from the "100 updates every 12 months" approach to more frequent, less game-changing tweaks.

What else would you sub? Fencer/Berserk/Warcry/Aggressor/Double Attack/Attack Bonus/Provoke. Pretty good to me. I only usually sub WAR or DNC(Self Erase/Instant Self Cures/Stun/Animated Flourish/Steps/Samba) on my PLD.

PLD/RDM hasn't failed for me yet. Granted I don't do Voidwatch, so I can't and won't comment on subjobs for that.

PLD/WAR is the best way to go because it gives you the highest increase in damage and a provoke.

Anyway the shield bash cooldown is still too long at 3 min given blu and dnc pretty much can spam stun moves.

You sub WAR for those, not for Provoke. Provoke is pretty terrible for anything other than recovering after a hate reset, and for that you have other tools, better tools.

This is bullshit.

Every time I see you complain about how bad DRK is, I just picture the Hitler video, but this time with the subtitles of Hitler saying "I finally finished my Apocalypse! Now everyone will want me in their party!" and his advisor saying "... uhhh... Fuhrer... DRK is shit... noone likes DRK... Why don't you level WAR and get a Ukon?"

Agreed over, but 300 dmg shield bash every 2.5min is nice also good for that afterglow im not getting
