Expanding mog house!

A real house would be lovely. It would be great if we could expand it, maybe add a new big fountain in the middle. A second floor wouldn't hurt. I want to make my house somewhere my entire LS can come and relax when we're not adventuring!

I read this thread with interest. I think this is the coolest idea ever and I hope folks are still reading it. I got to thinking why not use the format of the homes already in the cities? Bastok has nice examples in Port Bastok East of Warehouse 1. For Sandy the two story homes in Lion Square. Windy well maybe Ginger berry Grove Near the Federal Magic Reserve. For windy Thou they would have to remove all the Clutter and replace that big Stove thing in the middle with the Moggle. Also move the supports from the Middle of the floor to allow room for items. On the other Hand, Maybe re-work the windy home a little to allow two seperate rooms. Or base Windy homes on one of the Nicer Npc manor homes.

Sounds like a fun idea. I mean, my MH is filled with a water aura. Not sure what that does for me (I collect fish tanks) but for some folks it might be very important!


Thinking on the required materials in the current game the obvious ones would be copious amounts of lumber and metal, but can anyone think of more that would be needed to expand the homes? Besides money I mean.

I totally support this idea, a mog house expansion would be great, especially if it grows proportionally to your rank (although I think it would give issue when you change allegiance and are back to a lower rank).

I'd also like SE to reintroduce the "residence pick" feature we once had, because I'd love to set it in WG or jeuno so I can invite friends inside (instead of being stuck with Rent-à-Room only).

I absolutely LOVE this idea. LOVE. ; ; My Moghouse is teeny. The carpet takes up 75% of it. D: and I dont have enough room for my friends to come over cause my flowerpots are taking over the place! :3 Maybe give us a little bitty greenhouse to garden in too? :3

AUGH! This is something I've been pining for for ages! I WHOLEHEARTEDLY support this.

If we had to pick one tiny thing only when it came to mog house expansion, though, I'd probably go for more wall space. I have too many rare/ex furnishings that I'd love to have up on my walls all at once, but can't. It LOOKS as though there's so much space in which they could be put, at least when you look at the walls, too! Sometimes I wish I could just drape one of my many flags over my window because of it, haha.
