Other wepons got different names so they can be used in macros without any hassel. These axes should be no different and this needs to be adressed.

The only weapons with a different name for branching trials are the elemental staves. The melee and stat staves do not, nor do any other weapon trial groups. (Such as H2H and Polearm.)
I assume it's done like that to discourage juggling pet weapons. (Be gratefull you can dualwield them at all... axe augments work on offhand, while H2H, polearm and staff don't have that luxury and H2H is even nerfed on mainhand.)
"Puppetmaster was our last best hope for peace. It failed.
Now it's our last best hope.. for victory!"
Dual wield has nothing to do with this, there's no was to swap between attack and defence without taking the time to do it manualy. When you do have your a different weapon on you, you know what is going to happen when you press your PDT macro, suddenly uou have attack and eva equipped instead. This is exactly the same problem there was with the elemental stalves and likewise requires it's own fix.
Thanks for the feedback, Tsukino_Kaji.
This isn't a localization issue per se, as the branching weapons are not differentiated by name in the Japanese version either.
I can't guarantee an immediate solution, but we'll relay your concerns to the dev team's item guru and let you know what he says.
