Agreed. While I admit that this is unlikely to happen, I think it would be amazing. The addition of the "Jeuno Marketplace" or "Ru'Something Bazaar" might be fun, would ensure they were connected to /yell (if they were part of regional Jeuno), and might be able to assist in the meeting of buyer and seller.

Imagine a simple but attractive zone, textured and detailed similar to the Jeuno zones we have now, that is largely an open area - perhaps with some fountains, planters and trees for appearance and immersion - that has categories listed on the in-game map.

A "commons" could be in the center, for sellers with mixed inventories or who are less motivated to use the map's areas, with in-setting descriptions for gear, spawn-items, synthesis items, etc., located in various places on the map. That way, buyers and sellers could locate by business type to combat the model limit that plagues a pile of sellers in one spot.

Obviously I am being very general and vague, but I think it would not only be a fun way to combat the problems addressed in this thread, but also a way for the community to self-filter the process to match buyers with just the bazaars selling what they might be looking for. Incentive to use this kind of zone could be found in a reinstatement of the general Jeuno tax (perhaps even a stronger one) that does not apply in the "sanctioned marketplace."

Is it likely to happen? Perhaps not. But it is fun to dream.

I'm still curious as to what bizarre feat of programming led to a state of gaming where listing stuff on an auction house is more demanding on the servers than having a bunch of mules logged in bazaaring items 24/7. It seems like they could just make everything sellable on the auction house and eliminate 90% of the mules that are just hanging around.

Also, since Port Jeuno is the new congregation point, having bazaars one zone away in Rolanberry would actually be closer than where they currently are, 2 zones away in Upper.

Rolanberry is 2 zones away from Port, if you're talking about just zoning out then Sauromugue would be better than Rolanberry. Asura's Bazaars moved to gardens when we got invaded by pandy and most of them stay there, though PJ has its fair share of AFK'ers, and they`re usually asleep on top of Joachim.

While i didn't think it was necessary at first, with all the ppl selling various things like heavy metals and silver mirrors, And the shear number of ppl selling dynamis currency/items, the streets of Jeuno are getting quite flooded with afk bazaars. To the point now where i would support bringing it back.

• Remove the taxes in Chocobo Circuit
• Add the Jeuno yell's to Chocobo Circuit
• Restore the taxes to Jeuno.

Maybe... to be honest, I think the only thing that actually keeps me interested in this game at all anymore is seeing how this pans out. I'm waiting to find out once and for all if they are truly evil geniuses, or if they are just completely inept. Sadly, I suspect they are a little of both.

Except thanks to Jeuno being the place to AFK, character models won't always load meaning you're SOL if your rig doesn't display all the bazaars.

Rolanberry Fields is completely empty, lag free and all mules are visible without having to move around to see the hidden models. Choco Circuit would be even more ideal but tax makes it a no-go.

thats what comment lines are there for and what ffxiah.com is there for so you can see who has what in bazaar. I dont see any need or desire to bring taxes back into jeuno
