Also, since Port Jeuno is the new congregation point, having bazaars one zone away in Rolanberry would actually be closer than where they currently are, 2 zones away in Upper.

I would be all for reinstatement of the Jeuno tax to remove them from the cities once again.
I agree that having all the bazaars in 1 place made looking for something vastly easier, but there are inconveniences with going outside. The most obvious of having to run there. The 2nd being that while going through 200 bazaars will probably take a decent chunk of time, you can't see any shouts/yells you might be looking for (Voidwatch, etc) while you're outside of the city.

I feel at the very least, bazaars should be moved out of Ru'Lude Gardens and Port Jeuno. Port Jeuno's lag comes from a large number of issues, Abyssea npcs, AH, bazaars, BS/KS/KC/HKC npcs. However I feel tax in only Port Jeuno, similar to the ideas suggested by the devs (AH tax, bazaar tax in Port only) would cause a shift of everything to Ru'Lude Gardens, since it also has all of the npcs (except the seal npcs), and the Magian Moogles. So in an attempt to divide everything, they should make it so the popular place to bazaar does not have Abyssea warp npcs in it, and that might split up some of the traffic.
