I feel bad for some servers if there rolanmart has dried up.

I don't, because the whole idea was stupid to begin with. The reason it was done in the first place had nothing to do with lag or characters not displaying (which are both still a problem no matter where the bazaars go), it was all about evading the bazaar tax- heck, most people wouldn't even bazaar if there wasn't listing fees for the AH- this is all about saving gil.

...Are we the only server who's preserved this? :O!

Yes, apparently bismark is the only server that likes terrible ideas. I'm glad I'm not on that server if being there means having to walk to the end of town and zone out to go shopping.

Honestly I'm finding that bazaaring is happening less and less because few items in the game sell for a high enough value to where the AH fees become a problem, and all that's left is currency and a handful of other non-AHable items.

You need glasses then galka. Granted it might just be your server, but i know on odin, bazzars are absolutly every where.

Now i realize that running down the street for a min and zoneing is brutal, pains-taking work these days, but just think of the exercise youll get!!

Basicly anywhere the mass bazzars gather will have lag issues. Id rather have that just outside of town then inside it. Its annoying as hell trying to get something done in town but you cant because npcs wont load up, or you cant see ppl.

Im not sure how the taxes are implemented (city wide, or zone wide) but id even settle for taxes in ru'lude/lower/port jeuno. And let the bazars all stick to upper. That way they can still have access to /yell commands in the city, but be out of most ppls way.

If you look, realy look, around 60% of the people in port jeuno alone are bazaars.

Not on Shiva. There are a few, mind you, but what bazaars we do have are all over jeuno (mainly lower/rulude), not just in port.

You wanna know something sad, I didn't even realize there was a zone for the circuit. I always saw the arch and just figured it was another window or something like the AH. Honestly after I got a decent speed Chocobo I never bother with the mess after that. If there a mostly unused zone there? Yeah I'd say move it in there.
