Suggestion For a New Server-Wide Event! (Now with 20% More Kupostory)

So, While sleeping I thought of a rather (I think) Decent Idea for a Server-Wide Event, in the same light as Twinkling Treants. I know its been a Hot Topic on other Websites and generally met with mixed reception, But here me out.

"Hello Adventurers, Its your friendly moghouse Moogles again here at the MHMU, Kupo!

Unfortunately this isn't a courtesy call kupo... You see, We at the MHMU Decided to import some new pets for this years Summer Festival. But, As you may have guessed kupo, There was a problem in transportation!

The Pets we ordered somehow managed to escape and are now running around! They're good pets, But they're a bit unruly... So we would like if you adventurers can capture them so we can return them to their rightful spot in the Summerfest Event!

We're counting on you Kupo! Questions?

Hmmm...? What pets you ask? Well, Theres a Pet Kitty, a Pet Doggy, and a Pet Lizard!

Hmmm...? How did a Dog, cat, and Lizard Escape us? Well kupo... I think you'll find out for yourself!

Hmmm...? How are you going to capture them kupo? Just weaken them enough and a Moogle will come in with a Handy cage and put them back!

<Event Details>:

Takes place:
East Ronfaure.
North Gustaburg.
West Sarutabaruta.

You would speak to a Moogle in those zones and receive a level restriction of Level 30 (Encourages new players and old to try and participate!). Your objective would be to weaken the "Pets" In Question to about 10% HP, At which point a Moogle would appear and "capture" it back into its cage. The monster(s) would then dissapear, Captured and Completed!

Pet Kitty
Mob Type: Khimaira.
Area: E.Ronfaure
HP/DEF/ATK: Slightly less than Twinkling Treant (About 25% Less).
Would use Special Moves:
Purr:Enemies in Range are entranced by cuteness, Lowers Defense and Attack (25%)
Frolic:The Pet Kitty Jumps around Happily, Deals Moderate damage to Enemies in range
Lick wounds: Heals Pet Kittys HP around 2-3%. Uses Rarely.
Playful Scratch: Reduces Targets HP to 1.


Pet Doggy:
Mob Type: Cerberus
Area: N.Gusta
HP/DEF/ATK: Same as Pet Kitty.
Uses Unique TP moves:
Bark: AoE Terror, 10s
Growl: AoE Slow
Play Dead: Mijin-Gakure like ability, Much Weaker. Deals 200-300 damage.
Roll Over: <Spike Flail> Like ability. Deals heavy Damage to enemies in range. (300-400). Blocked by 1-2 Shadows.
Playful Bite: Reduces Targets HP to 1.

Pet Lizard:
Mob Type: Hydra
Area: West Saruta
HP/DEF/ATK: Same as Pet Kitty
TP moves:
Spit: Conal Poison (10hp/tic), Slow (25%), and Paralyze.
Hiss: Increases Pet Lizards Attack and Accuracy (15%)
Deep Leer: Gaze Terror, Similar to Peistes
Warm Blood: Hydra Becomes Immobile for 30 Seconds to soak in Sunlight. Erases all Debuffs Immediately, After use Hydra gains a 50%MDT/PDT for 1 minute.
Playful leap: Reduces Targets HP to 1.




Now, What about the rewards?!.

Don't think for a second you'd have to fell these foul beasts with no big reward, a Server event of this proportion deserves a reward to match. The Reward would be as Follows:

Defeat Pet Kitty: Would Grant a New Kupower "Moogle Magics!": Increases HMP (Clear Mind II Level, Stacks with other Clear mind, Maximum V) For those with Signet.
Defeat Pet Doggy: Would grant a new Kupower "Fast Talker": Increases Casting speed and Recast time (5% Fast Cast) For those with Signet.
Defeat Pet Lizard: Would grant a new Kupower "Desperado": Increases Attack Speed (5% Haste) For those with Signet.

And, As a Bonus, If you defeat all 3 Of them, You would receive as a super-special-Moogle-Level-Reward!

If all 3 Are Defeated, It would permanently add 1 More Kupower per Week. Meaning instead of getting 3 Random powers, You would get 4 random powers.




Hope you enjoyed my Idea, I wanted it to be a relatively low-level Event So even new players could rightfully participate. Level cap could also be 30/40/50. I Just wanted it to give everyone the ability to participate, or as many people as possible, while not limiting higher players too much.

I chose Khimaira, Hydra, and Cerberus because they're "Exotic" to the mainlands, and It would be cool mobs for new players to see and fight, as i think all were well designed. Plus they pretty much match a Cat, a Dog, and a lizard. The names were chosing to be misleading, As with most of the Moogles endeavors, and are easily susceptible to change, as i know a lot of the gaming community would be too insecure with their masculinity to get the hilariousness of a Hydra, Cerberus, and Khimaira to be refered to as a Cat, dog, and Lizard.
