Mirage shalwar+2

As I'm sure most have already seen, Mirage Shalwar +2 has an augment trial that when completed is supposed to enhance Assimilation, but no one can seem to figure out just what this means.

For those who don't know, Assimilation is a Merited Passive trait that increases the Blu's set points +1 per merit level, up to a max of +5. On the Test server most of us who play blu on a regular basis wanted to know what this did before putting time into it, but have been baffled on just what it does as it doesn't appear to do anything at all.

Testing took place without Assimilation and then each merit level of Assimilation. It was originally assumed that Assimilation enhancement would add more set points or possibly increase the stats of the spell(s) using the additional set points over the base cap, but testing shows that neither of these appear to be true. Is there possibility that this is broken and not working as intended or is there something else we haven't tried?

how do they mistranslate [Enhances "Assimilation" effect] into four different languages, including their own language? There's nothing else it could be, since all of the augmented relic+2 are the same, 1 piece enhances the 2hour effect (most ofthem just being a duration increase), and four pieces enhance 1-2 of the Category 2 job merits. Blu, like all of the other jobs with 4 cat2 merits, gets one piece for each merit.

They have to be broken. Especially since nin and pup relic+2 hats are broken as well.
