It was like that for years. Its only different in abyssea because of the way the exp system works in there.

Yeah they could easily code this to work in aby too tho I am sure. It cant really be that hard if they do it on every other map, they just chose not to.

I wouldnt pay either, with the shear amount of exp per hr you can get in aby you have to be one hell of a lazy sob to actually pay to leech. Just start your own pt and key.

As for mana/smn burns, Ive never seen a leech in either of these, everyone had something to contribute, whether it was pulling, holding, being the sync or whatever. The only time you didnt have to do anything was if you were being 'paid' for pulling via exp or if you were a smn in a mana burn pt sitting there with diablos' favor up for refresh. That was just my exp.
