It happens to me and others i know sometimes.. only when its really crowded tho.. or there are lots of mobs about.

I think it has something to do with how many models your computer can render or your settings.. im not too computer savvy tho heh..

Easy way to fix it is run a ways out 50 yalms or sight distance.. a grid square works fine also if you aren't sure on distances.. then back again and it should load.

Flunklesnarkin offered some very valid suggestions as to why this may be happening. This is attributed to hardware/latency. If you'd like assistance with information or optimization the issue please contact the support center at FINAL FANTASY XI Support Site (hyperlink) > Final Fantasy XI. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention and I hope it hasn't caused too much of an inconvenience for you!

Well, thats not always the case. When I teleport from Jeuno to a Maw, then sometimes there are nobody standing outside of the maw. So its definetly not too many people on the screen :/

It's happened to me when trying to zone into abyssea empy paradox before with only one person nearby. I lost a bunch of twilight gear that would have free fell to me that way.

It's generally a latentcy issue. I've had it happen a couple of times. Easy fix for me was just walk far enough away from where it's suppose to be, walk back and it's rendered back where it was supposed to be the 1st time.

That's what I have always done - until that one time I zoned out of the Shinryu battlefield, the maw in the Empyreal Paradox did not load. I had to log out and back on. -.-

    "/sigh factor" is when:
    - You are asked to set your HP when you already have your HP set the place you exit. O.o?
    - You need to repeat a quest a 100 times in order to cap your fame >_>

    Greetings, Kaych!
I appreciate you taking the time to contribute to the thread. Unfortunately, we are required to obtain information from player that originally started the thread, so in this case, we would need Ritsuka to fill out the previously provided form. However, if you would like to have a report submitted for you, I recommend starting a thread with the form filled out, and we will be more than happy to pass along your information for you. Thanks again for your participation!
