    What's the point of getting Relic+1

    So what's the point of getting Relic+1 and spending 15-40 pieces of currency to upgrade it if you can only upgrade one piece per real life week. I understand that it costs 30 Forgotten Items from Dynamis to upgrade a Relic+1 to Relic+2 but since we can only get ONE Relic+1 piece per week it seems to be cheaper and more efficient to NOT get the Relic+1 than it is to just keep your currency and get more Forgotten Items in those 7 days.

    We should be rewarded, not penalized for +1'ing the Relic piece before we upgrade to +2 but it's actually slower overall. Assuming you get 10-15 "Forgotten Items" per Dynamis and you do Dynamis every day, you're getting 105+ Forgotten Items per week. That's enough to upgrade 2 pieces in one week. Doing it the +1 method you save items but it still costs currency and it takes an entire week longer.

    Were you trying to reward people with +1 to get theirs faster or trying to preserve some kind of awkward balance for people who only do Dynamis once a week vs people who do it every day. Would be nice for people who do Dynamis every day AND have the +1 pieces to be able to upgrade more than 1 piece per week using the +1 method otherwise we're looking at waiting 5 weeks to achieve a full set. Please let Sagheera upgrade more than one relic piece per week...

    Everything they release as revisted seems to be stupidly unbalanced or not thought out. It must be that they are doing people with +1 already a favor, but I think +1 should have been mandatory and the forgotten item requirements lowered to 20. Also, as you said, removal of af1+1 an af2+1 wait times to just jp midnight would seem most logical at this point.

    Why do they add content without first considering it's impact on current content? I can see only one reason, they obviously don't care and just want to milk this mmo into the ground, but by doing so will alienate alot of future/current customers.

    They won't remove the once per week limitation because it slows down gear acquisition. It's done that way on purpose.

    Going from 50 ~ 30 items is pretty significant. Me and a friend of mine are douing dynamis pretty regularly for the +2 items. We're also collecting +1's as they fall, no reason not to.

    A) If you have been routinely using all the -1's you've been getting, then you don't have any piled up. If you haven't, then please don't blame SE
    B) if you don't have any piled up, then you either will be getting a lot more as you farm or you won't. If it's the latter, then it's not a problem. Turn in 1 per week. Rinse, repeat, done. If it's the former, then make a choice: wait to turn them in once a week, or collect more forgottens and turn them in faster.

    One way is easier and takes longer, one way is harder but is quicker. It's like waiting for 30 minutes for a bus or walking instead. It's a common decision we all make everyday. Don't blame SE for giving you a choice.

    the point are
    - some people might not be able to farm more than 30 forgoten per week (they don't log every day, have bad luck, ...) but might get the wanted -1 item and will get more than enough curencies: complete the piece in 1week.
    - afaik upgrading one item to+1 doesn't prevent you from upgrading another item from NQ to +2

    the only point that would made upgrading to+1 "a loss" is if you can buy the 20 forgoten missing for less than you sell the currencies needed

That's the only reason, it's not worth doing now, just let it go so maybe the devs can focus on doing something good with their time.

    I didn't consider they were supposed to be 2 alternatives with an equal balance of time sinks. I assumed it was like "do dominion ops for seals, or do the nm" where the NM is usually the vastly better option. In this case there is no vastly better option since they're both about equal in terms of time sink.
