We don't have any obligation to continue doing business with them. If they want us to continue, there's certain things that are in their best interest to do even if they aren't under an obligation to.

before calling it a nerf:
1) POIDH!
2) parse with hundreds of counter without a single weapon skill up, but skill ups on normal hit
3) retalation is not counter

doesn't even take that long.

PLD99/MNK, equipped Terra Staff, full time counterstance with ~15 mandies whacking away at me... I was definitely getting skill up from countered attacks. Targeted a monster behind me and was still getting skill ups from countered attacks. Seems to be working fine to me.

Evasion skill was already capped for me so don't know if that played any role.
