Copy/paste and Official Windowed Mode.

Please Square Enix, allow us to copy text outside of the game and paste it into the game in the Official Windowed mode.

The main reason I would like to see this is I would then be able to communicate with Japanese friends easier. I could type my response with Windows' IME in a notepad, copy it, and paste it into party chat. As it currently stands we foreigners cannot type Japanese in the game, and because you do not wish to grant the FFXI IME to us for monetary reasons (and maybe legal?), please allow us to use other resources instead.

For Japanese players romaji is difficult to read. Even as an English speaker, I find romaji cumbersome. In the line of battle nobody wants to take copious amounts of time and energy reading what one person in an alliance said. However, if I am able to at least paste my response in hiragana and kanji to them, I can prove to them that I genuinely respect their culture and am willing to try to communicate with them in the way that is easiest for them to understand.

I can't imagine that Windows' IME would be considered a third party tool, nor would Windows' notepad. This would be the cheapest route for Square Enix since you wouldn't have to grants access of your IME to us, and can't really be abused as far as I'm aware. It's not as if being able to paste a sentence into the chatlog from outside of the game could serve anyone an upper hand (as far as I'm aware).

I know that Square Enix does not like to hear about the unofficial windower, but as it currently stands, this is another feature that windower can do but the official windowed mode cannot.

Aside from Japanese it does make delivering information from a friendly website such as wikipedia easier and quicker. Not everyone can access wikipedia because some people do not have a working computer; being able to send these people pasted text would make me more willing to help them out.

Ah If this was possible then all we would have to use is google translate. It's not 100% but it would be better then Auto Translate which is limited.

And fix the Windowed mode being a resource hog even when it's inactive while you're at it.

Anything involving me using extensive keyboard input while multi-tasking shoots POL.exe's CPU usage to 100%.
