I was looking more at the line of Abyssea exp increases, stacks up for lack of a better phrase, as opposed to a number that is within a range like exp parties of old.

Example:
Level 20 party on Qufim fighting crabs will get 100-300 exp per mob. That number is pretty much static based on the make up of the party and the toughness of the crab.

Abyssea you start out low, most times in double digits depending more on the size of the mob and can work your way up to over 600 exp per mob over time and good fortune with lights.

That was what I was getting at.
